BLUEBEL 75/25: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) wool/nylon.
These were kettle-dyed a dirty mustard-khaki green which ranges from orange-gold to green-grey using many washes of colours. A little speckling with orange, caramel, copper and green was added at the end. They are tonal and slightly variegated and should be alternated if more than one is used. Two socks knit with the same hank may not be identical.
This plump, shiny and tough (!) yarn is great just about any fine fingering weight project. It is perfect for socks, accessories and baby garments and with its drape and generous yardage, it's ideal for shawls. Note that it is BFL and not quite as soft and smooshy as Merino - some with sensitivities may not like it next-to-skin.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
