Shipping policy

I ship usually within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation, via the most economical Canada Post option. Unfortunately postage costs in Canada are high (sorry, eh!) but domestically, do include tracking and insurance, plus delivery is relatively quick. If you wish to add any other features or expedite the package, please contact me for a quote.

Note that I have set the rates for the most reasonable, usual package sizes. If your package ends up costing significantly less I will refund the excess.  Similarly, if your shipping calculation contains an error and is unreasonably low, I will let you know and supply an invoice for the difference.  

CANADIAN BUYERS: I can ship domestically, up to 3 regular hanks via UNTRACKED lettermail using vacuum-sealed packaging if you wish to save shipping costs. Select the option on checkout, if available.

If you are local and would like to arrange a pickup, select local pickup shipping option and leave me a note at checkout. I'll contact you to finalise arrangements.

U. S. BUYERS: For most reasonable rates, shipping small packets to the U. S. is via air but EXCLUDES insurance and tracking. Delivery should be within 14 business days (usually less), but occasionally takes a bit longer. If you'd like upgraded shipping, let me know and I'll get Duties and taxes are your responsibility and customs tags will state the actual cost; no customs or duty fees are included in what you pay. International shipping times can vary greatly, especially overseas - please be patient if it seems to be taking longer than usual as it is likely that your package will eventually arrive. a quote. Larger packages of 4 hanks or more are automatically shipped with tracking.

INTERNATIONAL: Outside North America, shipping options are calculated automatically based on your package details - please select accordingly. Note that untracked ground may take 4 weeks or more to arrive. I have found the most economical option to be untracked air.

I follow Canada Post's guidelines regarding lost packages, which is usually only considered so after 30 business days. Let me know if your package seems to be taking unusually long and I'll follow up from this side if at all possible, but PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE TRACKED POSTAGE THERE IS LITTLE I CAN DO.
