MERINOH! 2-Ply: Approximately 115g/420 yards superwash merino wool. This is a 2-ply fingering weight yarn and it’s unbelievably soft at 17 microns.
These were kettle-dyed a dark tonal grey-brown, much like Charred, and speckled with rust, copper, grey, orange, brown, violet, turquoise and a tiny bit of pink.
This two-ply fingering yarn is smooth, VERY soft and satiny, providing great stitch definition. With only two plies it gives an almost pebbly-looking stockinette fabric. Great for baby wear, sweaters and accessories, it blocks well and is suitable for lacy and cabled projects, too - though it wouldn’t be my first choice for socks.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and maximum gorgeousness.
