MERINOH! DK: Approximately 100g/243 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 3-ply DK weight yarn. Note that it is a slightly different base than my previous one, which will be phased out.
These were kettle-dyed a tonal light brown base then twisted and glazed with medium grey. Finally, they were speckled with brown, grey and a little black. Note that these hanks are variegated and each is different though they share the same colours. Note different bases and batches are pictured to show variations.
This is a great all-round DK weight merino - soft, lofty and a bit smooshy with a nice twist, it is absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, a large shawl or cape or a sweater.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
