MERINOH! DK: Approximately 100g/231 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 4-ply DK weight yarn and the last of this base. I am stocking a slightly different one from a local supplier.
These were kettle-dyed a tonal light brown base then twisted and glazed with medium grey. Finally, they were speckled with brown, grey and a little black. Note that these hanks are variegated and each is different though they share the same colours. Different bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a great all-round DK weight merino - soft, lofty and smooshy with a nice twist, it is absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, a sweater or a large shawl or cape.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
