MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed a tonal light brown base then twisted and glazed with medium grey. Finally, they were speckled with brown, grey and a little black. Note that these hanks are variegated and each is different though they share the same colours. Please alternate hanks if using more than one.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
