MERYLON 75/25: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Merino wool/nylon. This is an excellent offering of the ubiquitous 75/25 fine fingering/sock yarn that is so useful and versatile.
These were kettle-dyed a variegated blue-turquoise base with a lot of lime green, then speckled and spotted with bordeaux and vermillion and a few spots of black. Note that this is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different, as is each batch of this colourway. Two socks knit with the same hank may not be identical. Note that a different base is pictured but reasonably represents the colourway.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough!) yarn, great for just about any fingering weight project you can think of. It is perfect for next-to-skin items and baby garments. If you knit socks tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
