MERYLON 75/25: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Merino wool/nylon. This is an excellent offering of the ubiquitous 75/25 fine fingering/sock yarn that is so useful and versatile.
These were kettle-dyed with an initial bath of bright gold-mustard then a more mottled bath of intense hot pink. There is a teensy bit of hazy speckling with magenta and orange. This is a variegated colourway so please alternate hanks if using more than one. Two socks knit from the same hank may not be identical. It is quite bright!! Note that some other bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough!) yarn, great for just about any fingering weight project you can think of. It is perfect for next-to-skin items and baby garments. If you knit socks tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
