MERINOH! 2-Ply: Approximately 115g/420 yards superwash merino wool. This is a 2- ply fingering weight yarn and it’s unbelievably soft at 17 microns.
These were kettle-dyed with an initial bath of bright gold-mustard then a more mottled bath of intense hot pink. There is a teensy bit of hazy speckling with magenta and orange. This is a variegated colourway so please alternate hanks if using more than one. It is quite bright!! Note that some other bases are pictured to show variations.
This two-ply fingering yarn is smooth, VERY soft and satiny, providing great stitch definition. With only two plies it gives an almost pebbly-looking stockinette fabric. Great for baby wear, sweaters and accessories, it blocks well and is suitable for lacy and cabled projects, too - though it wouldn’t be my first choice for socks.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
