PACABEL: Approximately 100g/438yds 60/20/20 superwash Merino wool/Alpaca/nylon, 4 plies.
These were kettle-dyed with an initial bath of bright gold-mustard then a more mottled bath of intense hot pink. There is a teensy bit of hazy speckling with magenta and orange. This is a variegated colourway so please alternate hanks if using more than one. Two socks knit from the same hank may not be identical.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough) 4-ply yarn - plump and round with the usual alpaca halo and hairs. It's great for just about any fingering weight project and will result in lofty, warm winter accessories and garments. If you knit socks, tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
