MERINOH! SPORT: Approximately 100g/328yds superwash Merino wool. This is sport weight yarn; a fine, strong 4-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed a grey-green then speckled with copper-brown, gold, avocado, dark green, scarlet and a little yellow. There can be more scarlet and bleed-through in hanks and/or batches. I included a lot of pictures to show the range. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different. I highly recommend alternating hanks if using more than one of your like a more uniform fabric.
This is an incredibly, SOFT and SMOOSHY yarn with a great hand, having a lovely 4 plies - it knits up smoothly and wears well. It would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item to be worn next to your skin.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
