MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438yds superwash Merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed a grey-green then speckled with copper-brown, gold, avocado, dark green, scarlet and a little yellow. There can be more scarlet and bleed-through in hanks and/or batches. I included a lot of pictures to show the range. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different. I highly recommend alternating hanks if using more than one
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
