MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled tonal pale golden/peach and speckled with gold, teal, violet, pink and yellow. There is a fair amount of bleed-through, especially from the green and violet. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a variegated colourway and though the hanks all share the same colours, each is unique.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
