MERINOH! SPORT: Approximately 100g/328 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 3-ply sport weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a bright mottled pink/magenta/hot pink using all my bright pink dyes. Then they were speckled with fuchsia, hot pink, bordeaux, yellow, red, caramel and a bit of grey. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different. Two socks knit from the same hank will not be identical. Oink Ponk you ask? My two most common typos when I am writing “pink” ;)
This is an incredibly, SOFT and SMOOSHY yarn with a great twist and nice stitch definition. It would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item to be worn next to your skin.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
