MERINOH! DK: Approximately 100g/243 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 3-ply DK weight yarn (17 micron / ultra fine). Note that it is a slightly different base than my previous one, which will be phased out.
These were kettle-dyed a bright mottled pink/magenta/hot pink using all my bright pink dyes. Then they were speckled with fuchsia, hot pink, bordeaux, yellow, red, caramel and a bit of grey. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated, bright colourway and each hank is slightly different. Oink Ponk you ask? My two most common typos when I am writing “pink” ;) A different base may be pictured but reasonably represents the colourway.
This is an anmaz soft DK weight merino - lofty and smooshy with a nice twist, it is absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories or a large shawl or cape.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
