MERINOH! Bulky: Approximately 100g/106 yards superwash Merino wool in a 3-ply bulky weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a bright mottled pink/magenta/hot pink using all my bright pink dyes. Then they were speckled with fuchsia, hot pink, bordeaux, yellow, red, caramel and a bit of grey. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different. Two socks knit from the same hank will not be identical. Oink Ponk you ask? My two most common typos when I am writing “pink” ;) A different base may be pictured but reasonably represents the colourway.
This is a lofty, SOFT and SMOOSHY yarn! It would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item to be worn next to your skin. I envision it as a chunky hat or scrunchy cowl - you?
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
