MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed with navy blue, grey, spruce and black then lightly sprinkled through the water with green and blue for a light tonal speckling effect. Note that the hanks pictured may be on a different base or multiple batches to illustrate the colourway.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
