MERINOH! DK: Approximately 100g/243 yards of superwash Merino wool. This is a 3-ply DK weight yarn.
These were dyed using speckling only with yellow, caramel, mustard, avocado, deep green, purple and a touch of navy. The hanks are twisted prior to speckling so coverage is fairly consistent but there are some undyed areas as well as lots of bleed-through. This is a highly variegated, speckle-only colourway and each hank is different. Please alternate if using more than one in a garment. Note that different bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a great all-round DK weight merino - soft and smooshy with a nice twist. It is hardy and lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, sweaters, kids’ garments or a large shawl or cape.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour, texture and maximum gorgeousness.
