KIDMO MERINOH!: Approximately 115g/425 yards 50/50 superwash Merino wool/kid Mohair. This is two-ply fingering or sock weight yarn with a good twist.
These were kettle-dyed a tonal tan and covered with a variegated medium-light grey. Finally, they were speckled with yellow, gold, orange, lime, avocado and a few drops of black. Note that this is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different, please alternate hanks if using more than one.
This is a sleek, strong, warm, dense yarn; the mohair is noticeable but not super hairy. This base is excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item: mittens, hat, shawl, sweater... you get my drift. It has lovely drape but the smoosh/squish factor is lower due to the mohair content.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
