MERINOH! Sport: Approximately 100g/328yds superwash Merino wool. A fine, strong four-ply base that is a nice weight between fingering and DK.
These were kettle-dyed using consecutive washes of chartreuse, maroon, purple, brown and green. There are a very small amount of brown, pink and green speckles. It’s a difficult colour to pin down - it’s predominantly purple but it’s green, grey, red and brown, too... Note that this is a tonal/variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different as is each batch. Different bases are shown.
This is an incredibly SOFT and smooshy yarn with a fine hand and nice stitch definition. It would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item to be worn next to your skin. Hats, sweaters, shawls, baby clothes…
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
