MERINOH! SINGLES LACE: Approximately 115g/825 yards superwash merino wool. This is a singles laceweight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled tonal lime/chartreuse/avocado and speckled with yellow, gold, green, orange, fuchsia-purple and hot pink. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. They are highly variegated and should be alternated if more than one is used. These more randomly dyed colourways vary from batch to batch and from hank to hank within a batch.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely, singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that’s it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
