MERYLON 75/25: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Merino wool/nylon. This is an excellent offering of the ubiquitous 75/25 fine fingering/sock yarn that is so useful and versatile.
These were kettle dyed various shades of yellow-green then washed with black-purple and finished with a little bit of purple, violet and brown speckles. This is a highly variegated colourway and while all hanks share the same colours, each is unique. Two socks knit from one hank will not be identical. NOTE: this colourway is mostly olive and grey-green with purple speckles and bleed-through. Please alternate hanks if using more than one.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough!) yarn, great for just about any fingering weight project you can think of. It is perfect for next-to-skin items and baby garments. If you knit socks tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
