MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a light tonal mocha brown then speckled lightly with gold, caramel and a touch of pink. They are mottled and tonal and though they share the same colours each is unique. These more randomly dyed colourways vary from batch to batch and from hank to hank within a batch. Please alternate hanks if using more than one. Note that the pictures are of a different base but is a fair representation of the colourway.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
