PACABEL: Approximately 100g/437yds 60/20/20 superwash Merino/alpaca/nylon.
These were dyed using speckling only with navy, teal, wedgewood, cobalt and grape. They are quite mottled with dyed and undyed spots as well as pink/red from dyes breaking. They may stripe, pool or flash depending on the garment being knit and a pair of socks may not be identical. Each hank is unique though they all share the same colours. Two socks knit from the same hank will not be identical. Please alternate hanks if using more than one. Different bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough) 4-ply yarn - plump and round with the usual alpaca halo and hairs. It's great for just about any fingering weight project and will result in lofty, warm winter accessories and garments. If you knit socks, tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour, texture and gorgeousness.
