MERINOH! WORSTED: Approximately 115g/210 yards superwash Merino wool. This is a 4-ply worsted weight yarn. This is a new base from a local mill which will be replacing my other worsted bases.
These were kettle dyed with various shades of yellow and blue then lightly speckled with dark brown, copper, gold and a touch of navy. This is a variegated colourway and while all hanks share the same colours, each is unique.
This is a lovely, sturdy base which would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item and is next-to-skin soft. I envision it as a cozy hat or scrunchy cowl, baby sweater or big cardigan - you?
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
