MERIBELLA 75/25 DK: Approximately 100g/246 yards 75/25 superwash superfine Merino wool/silk, a luxurious 4 ply DK weight yarn.
These were kettle dyed a tonal grey base, overdyed with a medium reddish-brown and further overdyed with a dark brown. Finally, they were lightly speckled through the water with red-brown, dark brown and grey for a hazy freckled effect. While the hanks all share the same colours each is unique, please alternate if using more than one. Note that different bases are pictured to show variations.
This is a sleek, soft, plied DK weight yarn that appears to have a much higher silk content than it does thanks to the superfine Merino fibre. It's slinky and decadent with some Merino smoosh remaining for good measure. It will make a lovely shawl, scarf, hat or swingy cardi, but it would be good for just about anything worn next to the skin. It has lovely drape and is silky soft and shiny.
Despite its superwash designation, please hand wash in cool water and air dry flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
