MERINOH! DK: Approximately 100g/243 yards of superwash Merino wool. This is a 3-ply DK weight yarn.

These were kettle-dyed a tonal medium grey. This batch is a bit variegated with blue-greyish areas. They were then speckled with orange, rust, copper and dark brown. Though they share the same colours each is unique. Please alternate hanks if using more than one. Note: photos are of a few bases to show variations.

This is a great all-round DK weight merino - soft, lofty and smooshy with a nice twist, it is absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories or a large shawl or cape.

While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.

I am very impressed with my recent order. I love the color, as well as the yarn itself. I purchased two dyed Rusty Bucket Shawls (one in wool and in silk), because I love the color so much and am in the process of making a cardigan to match, as well. Crooked Kitchen dyes, I have found to be very pleasing to the eye. Already thinking of my next project in the pink. Thank you!
