MERINOH! SINGLES LACE: Approximately 115g/825 yards superwash merino wool. This is a singles laceweight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed pale tonal brown then washed with light tonal grey and finished with a light wash of pink. The result is a predominantly tonal grey with a bit of beige variegation and a faint pink undertone in areas. It is pretty much exactly the colour of the sun-bleached boards on my back deck! Different bases are pictured to show variations.
Simple and lovely, this is a soft, dense yarn with a very slight halo, that shows lovely stitch definition and drape. I like that’s it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
