POLLY DK: Approximately 100g/246yards superwash Polwarth wool. This is a 4-ply DK weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed an ever-so-slightly tonal pale warm beige/ecru with just a hint of a blush.
A lot of smoosh with a bit of extra sheen and “crispness” this is a great all-purpose DK base. It is not as soft as Merino and a little more toothy with a nice density. From shawls and winter accessories to sweaters and baby blankets - take your pick - they all are perfectly suited.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
