KIDMO SILK LACE: Approximately 50g/465 yards 72/28 Superkid mohair/silk. This is a 2-ply laceweight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed with navy/gunmetal/grey, spruce green and lime and then speckled (splotched) with medium coppery brown and a little grey as well as a few drops of green. Though they share the same colours each hank is unique. Please alternate if using more than one in a project. Note the colours are a little more mottled/clumped than on the fingering bases.
Silky, hazy, strong, soft, warm! Kid mohair at its loveliest - use this held together with another base for a silky halo or by itself as an accent for interesting contrast in your work. Either way, it’s a luxurious blend and a joy to knit (and pet!).
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
