MERINOH!: Approximately 100g/218 yards each superwash Merino wool. This is a 4-ply worsted weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a very bright yellow-green then glazed inconsistently with a warm chestnut brown. They are variegated and each hank is unique, even from the same batch. Note that the picture is of a different base. The colour reminds me of a Bosc pear - it’s nuanced and difficult to photograph.
This is a lofty, SOFT and SMOOSHY yarn! It would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item to be worn next to your skin. I envision it as a cozy hat or scrunchy cowl - you?
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
