MERIBELLA 75/25 DK: Approximately 100g/246 yards 75/25 superwash superfine Merino wool/silk, a luxurious 4 ply DK weight yarn.
These were kettle dyed a tonal blush/taupe base then glazed with a wash of light brown then light grey. Finally, they were speckled with golden brown and purple. Note that these hanks are slightly variegated and each is different though they share the same colours. Different bases are pictured but represent the colourway reasonably.
This is a sleek, soft, plied DK weight yarn that appears to have a much higher silk content than it does thanks to the superfine Merino fibre. It's slinky and decadent with some Merino smoosh remaining for good measure. It will make a lovely shawl, scarf, hat or swingy cardi, but it would be good for just about anything worn next to the skin. It has lovely drape and is silky soft and shiny.
Despite its superwash designation, please hand wash in cool water and air dry flat to maintain optimum colour and maximum gorgeousness.
