MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled tonal golden caramel and speckled with gold, copper, rust, turquoise, violet and navy. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a variegated colourway and though the hanks all share the same colours, each is unique. If using more than one hank in a project please alternate hanks.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
