MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were kettle dyed in consecutive baths of lime green, red, purple, cobalt and teal. These are highly variegated and hanks from the same batch may be quite different in both intensity and tone even though they all share the same colours. You may want to alternate hanks if used together. I included photos of the colourway on different bases to better illustrate the variegation. Colours may vary slightly between batches and within the same batch.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
