MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were dyed using speckling only, a combination of mustard yellow, tawny brown, dark brown, copper brown and red. They are quite mottled and variegated with a lot of white as well as secondary shading. Though they share the same colours they are each unique - please alternate hanks if using more than one.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
