MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438yds superwash Merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were dyed with subsequent washes of caramel, brown and chestnut-brown with a small area of the hanks left relatively light. Finally, there’s a little speckling with dark brown and cinnamon-brown. These may flash or pool depending on the item being knit. Please alternate hanks if using more than one.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
