MERYLON 75/25 SOCK BLANK: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Merino wool/nylon in a single-knit sock blank. This is an excellent offering of the ubiquitous 75/25 fine fingering/sock yarn that is so useful and versatile.
This was dyed clumped loosely in the pot using speckling only with many shakes of green, turquoise, teal, gold, yellow, brown and caramel. It is random and unrepeatable.
Sock blanks are dyed individually and each is one of a kind. You will be receiving the exact one pictured. Two socks knit with this blank will be similar but not identical.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough!) yarn, great for just about any fingering weight project. It is perfect for socks, next-to-skin items and baby garments. If you knit socks tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
