MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were dyed in a crowded pot with washes of red, fuchsia, mahogany and scarlet then speckled lightly on top with hot pink, yellow, bordeaux and scarlet. They are variegated and each hank is unique though all share the same colours. Please alternate hanks if using more than one. Note that some of the yarns pictured are different bases to reasonably depict the colourway.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
