MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a pale tonal tan and covered with a variegated medium-light grey. Finally, they were speckled with yellow, gold, orange, lime, avocado and a few drops of black. Note that this is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different.
Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
