MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were dyed in a crowded pot with washes of red, fuchsia, mahogany and dark brown, ending with a few caramel speckles. Note that these hanks share the same colours but that they are all slightly different so you may want to alternate hanks if used together. **NB: I intend that future batches are much more mottled and colours less blended.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
