MERINOH! 4-Ply: Approximately 100g/438 yards superwash merino wool. This is fingering/sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four-ply base.
These were kettle-dyed a very tonal tan/blush then speckled with teal, turquoise, gold, ochre and 2 large spots of vermillion on each hank. They are quite variegated and each is unique though all share the same colours. Note that heavily speckled colourways usually vary from batch to batch and from hank to hank within a batch.
This is a lovely, soft, sturdy, tightly twisted yarn, slightly shiny and with good stitch definition. If you like the Merylon 75/25 fingering but want a pure Merino option, this is the one.
While this is superwash treated, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
