MERINOH! SINGLES: Approximately 115g/465yards superwash Merino wool. This is a single-ply light fingering weight yarn.

These were kettle-dyed a deep charcoal/iron grey, black-ish, slightly tonal, and have a small amount of rust, brown and black speckling. They tend toward the cooler side of grey but to me look fairly neutral. With the speckling they’d go nicely with a warm grey, too (Back Deck or Charred). This is like a very dark Rusty Bucket. A different base is pictured but accurately represents the colourway.

Simple and pretty - this is a lovely singles yarn which will develop a slight halo but hold nice stitch definition and drape. While it is not the absolute softest singles base I have tried (though it’s still plenty soft!), I like that it’s slightly denser with a tighter twist than some, and I find it knits into a very pleasing fabric.

While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
