BLUEBELLE DK: Approximately 100g/245 yards superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool. This is a 4-ply DK weight yarn.
These were dyed using specklng only with pretty much all my medium to light greens plus a bit of yellow. They are uneven and inconsistent and there is a lot of white as well as bleed-through. Note that these are highly variegated and hanks from the same batch may be quite different in both intensity and tone even though they all share the same colours.
This is a great all-round DK weight BFL - soft, lofty and even smooshy with a nice twist and that great BFL sheen. It is absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, children's clothes or a large shawl or cape.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and shape.
