MERYLON 75/25 DK: Approximately 100g/243 yards superwash Merino wool/nylon. This is a 4-ply DK weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled tonal grey and speckled with purple, brown, yellow, red and gold. The hanks are not twisted prior to speckling so coverage is more random. This is a highly variegated colourway and each hank is slightly different. These more randomly dyed colourways vary from batch to batch and from hank to hank within a batch. Different bases and batches are shown to illustrate variations.
This is a great all-round DK weight merino/nylon blend - soft with a nice twist and hardy with 4 plies and added nylon. It is sturdy and lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, sweaters, kids’ garments, socks or a large shawl or cape.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
