Silk Scarf: Approximately 23” x 82” fine mulberry silk handwoven tasseled scarf, hand dyed. Wool Scarf: Approximately 28” x 80” fine Merino wool, hand dyed.
These were kettle-dyed using the same colours originally as Rusty Bucket with aggressive “rusty” speckling.
This is a mulberry silk scarf, handwoven, soft, light, elegant and uniquely hand-dyed. I have been wearing mine for a while now and I love it! It is NOT Habotai silk and appears more rustic with occasional small slubs, imperfect strands and slightly uneven weaving. It is finished with twisted thread tassels on each end. Please see close-up pictures. The item in the photographs is the scarf listed and though I dye using the recipe for my yarn colourway, each is unique.
The fine Merino wool scarf is woven, it’s light and lovely with a tiny fringe on each end. Please see close-up pictures. The item in the photographs is the scarf listed and though I dye using the recipe for my yarn colourway, each is unique.
Both items must be hand washed and air dried followed by a pressing with an iron (steam or mist helps).
