MERINOH! WORSTED: Approximately 115g/210 yards/192 meters superwash Merino wool. This is a 4-ply worsted weight yarn. This is a new base from a local mill which will be replacing my other worsted bases. This listing is for 7 hanks total.
These were kettle-dyed a mottled combination of all the Cthulhu’s Kinky Boots colours sans red. Primarily a blend of navy, brown, green and grey but with bits of rust, violet, blue and orange. While they all share the same colours each hank is unique and due to the way I layer the colours when dyeing, each batch is a little different, too. Different batches are pictured.
This is a lovely, sturdy base which would be excellent for just about any knit or crocheted item and is next-to-skin soft. I envision it as a cozy hat or scrunchy cowl, baby sweater or big cardigan - you?
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
