BLUEBELLA 55/45: Approximately 100g/231 yards 55/45 BFL wool and silk in a 4-ply DK weight yarn.
These were kettle-dyed with washes of teal, spruce, green and navy then very lightly speckled with chartreuse, teal, green and grey. This is a somewhat variegated colourway so please alternate hanks if using more than one - each hank is slightly different, as is each batch of this colourway. Multiple bases are shown to depict the colourway.
Shiny, soft and slightly crisp, à la BFL. If you’re a fan of the wool, this blend, with the added silk, is a treat! It’s absolutely lovely and would be perfect for winter accessories, a large shawl or cape or a stunning sweater. It appears almost luminescent with the high silk content.
While this is superwash, it’s a luxury yarn and I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
