MERYLON 75/25: Approximately 100g/463yds 75/25 superwash Merino wool/nylon. This is an excellent offering of the ubiquitous 75/25 fine fingering/sock yarn that is so useful and versatile. This listing is for 2 x 50g hanks.
Back Deck: These were kettle-dyed pale tonal brown then washed with light tonal grey and finished with a light wash of pink. The result is a predominantly tonal grey with a bit of beige variegation and a faint pink undertone in areas.
Charred: These were kettle-dyed a tonal brown, then brown-grey and finally glazed with black. Overall, a warm taupe-y grey, like very dark Back Deck.
This is a lovely, soft (but tough!) yarn, great for just about any fingering weight project you can think of. It is perfect for next-to-skin items and baby garments. If you knit socks tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture and maximum gorgeousness.
