PACABEL: Approximately 100g/438yds 60/20/20 superwash Merino/alpaca/nylon, 4 plies.
These were kettle dyed a tonal tan base and overdyed in some areas with purple and grey. Finally, they were speckled with lime, avocado, brown and bordeaux. Note that this is a highly variegated colourway and all hanks share the same colours but that they are each slightly different. Please alternate hanks if more than one are used together. The base pictured is a different fingering yarn but it accurately depicts the colourway.
This is a lovely, very soft (but tough) 4-ply yarn - plump and round with the usual alpaca halo and a few hairs. It's great for just about any fingering weight project and will result in lofty, warm winter accessories and garments. If you knit socks, tightening the gauge slightly will ensure iron-like wear.
While this is superwash, I recommend hand washing and drying flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
