PACABELLA LACE: Approximately 100g/875 yards 70/30 Baby Alpaca/silk. This is a 2-ply laceweight yarn.
These were dyed a base of bright yellow-green then washed with spruce, black-purple and finished with a little bit of purple, violet and brown speckles. This is a variegated colourway and while all hanks share the same colours, each is unique - please alternate hanks if using more than one.
Soft, slinky and gorgeous! Baby alpaca and mulberry silk combined in a beautiful lacy base with sheen from the silk and a slight halo from the alpaca. It’s warm, soft and strong, to boot. Note that alpaca bases tend to be just a little less saturated colour-wise.
Please hand wash in cool water and air dry flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
